On the Road Day 5 Port Elgin NB to Charlottetown PEI

Day 1 Toronto to Levis QC

Day 2 Levis QC to St. Andrew by the Sea NB

Day 3 St. Andrew NB to Port Elgin NB

Day 4 Little Shemogue NB

Another short day but we spent time exploring before we reached Charlottetown.
It was a beautiful sunny day as we left!

We skipped breakfast at the inn and headed out hoping for a Tim Horton's before crossing the Confederation bridge.
Nope, no Tim's!!!
On our way back we will stop and get photos of the bridge.

Once across we decided to do the North Cape drive.

First stop - Summerside

Then a stop at this astounding church and cemetery, I will do a more detailed post on most of these stops.

Wanted to visit the Acadian Music Centre but it was only open Monday to Friday, really??? In the middle of summer????

 The Bottle Houses!

Down a dirt road to West Point.

Along the coast

Time for lunch in O'Leary- everything potato! Including potato fudge and ice cream.

Then we decided to go to the top - North Cape.

Just a teaser of the church in Miscouche!

Then it was time to head to our stay in Charlottetown for five days.

We headed to the wharf for dinner at Lobster on the Wharf.
Dinner was great, you can build your own fisherman platter so I had a crab cake, two shrimp and a lobster tail.

  1. Ah, West Point! Such a beautiful area. Terrific shots. I have been to the island twice, the first time before the bridge, the second time after.
