It's Beginning to Look Like...

December 2017 - Toronto ON

On Thursday we went to the Distillery District Christmas Market.

I've posted photos from the Distillery District many times over the years and this link will give you some history and photos from a daytime summer visit.

Such cheery fellows to greet us!

The cobblestone lanes and walkways will also be strewn with lights.

It has all the tradition, heritage and charm of a European Christmas Market, right in the heart of Toronto and we don't have the hassle of driving and parking.

On the weekends there is an admission fee of $6 and the website warns of long lineups.

If it's too cold for you to nosh outside there are a variety of casual indoor eateries  with a wide choice of cuisines available, but I would suggest a reservation on any night.

Foodies can taste traditional European street-style food as well as Canadian holiday treats and sip on cold and warm brews in the beer gardens.

All the food smelled delicious but we had dinner reservations for mussels!

Campbell's Soup was giving away samples.
