Saturday John is now suffering with a cold but that didn't matter when he was offered a ticket to a Marlies hockey game in the afternoon.
He was home in time for us both to watch the Blue Jays lose game 2.
But at least we did get to see our nephew's commercial during the game!

Sunday was a lazy rainy day of this and that. We are both still a little under the weather, both coughing.
Monday a very foggy day. Went for a haircut.
Tuesday John golfed with a BIL and then they came to us for dinner.
Three more hockey players were added to Legends Row at the Air Canada Centre where the Maple Leafs play.
Wednesday was another gorgeous day.
I had the all clear from the doctor that I could travel as my shingles weren't causing any pain. I just had to finish the medication while away. I also got an updated tetanus shot while I was there.
Thursday rainy and got a pedicure. Packed for our week away and ordered dinner in, something we very seldom do.
Friday we are headed out to Williamsburg VA we had a week of timeshare expiring so we thought we should use it. Check-in is Saturday.
A very rainy day. Spent the night in Johnstown PA and ordered Chinese food for dinner.
Curry chicken and beef and broccoli.

ReplyDeleteHope you get over the cold sooner than later. Loved the Language of Flowers. I hope you see the sun in Virginia.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you all get over your colds soon, nothing worse than a head cold, so annoying, I hope you enjoy Virginia and we look forward to lots of photos,
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling much better now! You drove within an hour of me (here in central Pennsylvania), so I know you saw some lovely fall foliage on your way south. (sorry I'm so late arriving, between travel and computer issues ... well, you know how it goes.)
ReplyDeleteThat was a serious amount of fog.
ReplyDeleteThe Chinese food is very tempting! nice photos.
