P;laces We've Stayed - A Week in Donegal

Susan from http://blackberryjamcafe.blogspot.com/ inspired me to do this post after she left a very nice comment on yesterday's post.

In 2007 we rented an apartment in Ramelton after spending some time in the North where we had never been before. We'd been to the South numerous times before.
We rented it from a lovely doctor who worked in Letterkenny.

He met us at the apartment, showed us around, and even left a bottle of wine for us. Here are some pictures of the apartment.
We have rented in Ireland twice before as well as many other places around the world. But I must say that this was one of the most comfortable and the amenities were great!
It's not often someone leaves you DVDs to watch.

It was great to be based in 1 place and be able to cook some meals in. When travelling I love being able to go to the market or grocery store and "shop". It was an excellent base for BH to do some amazing golfing in the area (post on that later).
