It's been a busy week and I haven't really done any daily posts.

We absolutely loved Hoi An, it is a place we would consider coming back to.

The highlight of the week would be the Ho Chi Minh River cruise!!

We finished up the tour part of the package for Vietnam on Thursday in HCMC upon return from Can Tho and the last night in HCMC.

Of our group of 20

10 went on to Cambodia - John, Jerry, Pierre, couple, Karen, weirdos, HK.

Went home - Leon TX, 3 LA, 4 CDN

Most of group 2 seemed to go home, I only saw 1 person added to the Cambodia WhatsApp.

Friday afternoon We went to Bangkok with a couple (Calgary) from group 2. However, they were on VietJet and we were on Vietnam Airlines (much nicer), a meal was served which we didn't eat.

We arrived on time with our e-arrival cards in hand and immigration line snaking for miles. Many were applying for their e-cards as we meandered. I did see the seniors line but always assume it is for people with mobility issues. After over 30 minutes moving at a snail's pace, we turned a corner and there was a sign saying SENIORS 70 +! We flagged down an officer and pointed, she raised 7 fingers and we said YES! and moved to that line. One old guy couldn't find his e-card on his phone and was sent back. Eyeballs scanned, fingerprints taken and we were off to pick up our lonely luggage on the carousel. Our guide met us and took us to the parked van with no driver. After a few minutes it turned out the driver had lost the car keys!! Guide arranged for a cab and came to the hotel where we checked in . 

We laughed because the last time we came to Bangkok, our tour guide did not show up.
