February 2015 - Sa Dec Vietnam

I am finally working my way through our photos from the Mekong River cruise we took in February.

For the highlights of our day in Sa Dec and Cai Be click here.

In the afternoon we took a sampan to the small town of Sa Dec where we had time to shop at a local souvenir market. There were so many lovely things to buy but as we are limited in our luggage I had to contain myself.

 Greeting cards.

  3. So many beautiful colorful things! How were you able to resist them? I love the three-dimensional cards, as well as all the beautiful paintings. What souvenirs did you bring home?

  4. What did you finally decide to bring home. A bookmark, or greeting card. I love the gorgeous bowls and plates. Now, if I could just master the use of chopsticks....!

  6. Luggage space is always the killer. I do like that painted red bowl, so pretty. I'd like to go to Vietnam one day, so many people go and really enjoy it.
