Travel Photo Monday - Tabacon Costa Rica

Travel Photo Monday

Travel Photo Monday

November 2002 - Costa Rica

Photos, in no particular order, from Tabacon, a hot springs resort in the northern area of Costa Rica, located at the base of the Arenal Volcano near the town of Fortuna. The springs are naturally heated by the volcano's close proximity hence the appearance of cloudy photos.

Mucho coatimundis around the grounds being fed by tourists. They are part of the raccoon family.

Nice! Notice the toe at the bottom of the photo.

Heliconia - related to bananas, cannas and gingers.

Orchids look so much better in the wild.

  3. Those Cotimundis are very cute, hopefully they don't bite. Costa Rica is quite stunning and lush, would love to visit some day
