November 2011 - Hilo Hawaii
We've been to Hawaii five times, and we never tire of its beauty and serenity. The Big Island is our favourite and never miss staying there for at least a few days.
We usually spend a day driving around Hilo.
King Kamehameha is everywhere!
Beautiful photography! I'd love to see Hawaii for myself someday.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful shots! I love the last one ...
ReplyDeleteWe share your love of Hawaii! Beautiful shots - you've captured its beauty well. And I love the use of maps in posts ~
ReplyDeleteI've cycled the Big Island and really enjoyed the scenery. Lucky you visiting Hawaii five times.
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie, those waterfalls are breathtaking. No wonder you keep on coming back. I'm only been to Hawaii and didn't go to the Big Island. I'll definitely have to explore it next time I go. I'd love to see those heavenly sceneries myself.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous. I love the Japanese garden. I was in Hawaii in 1980, and have always wanted to go back; one of these days!
ReplyDeleteLoved the red and humpback bridges and the view through the stone window (I can't resist taking them myself).
ReplyDeleteI love Hawaii...You look warm and happy...just like you should there...love the photos.
ReplyDeleteWe also really enjoyed our time in Hilo. I think my kids found the best climbing tree ever there. Where is the double waterfall? I don't remember seeing that. I really like that photo through the stone window, too. Nice framing.
