Book Review - Night Frost

As mentioned earlier in the week here is my review of Night Frost.

Night Frost (Inspector Frost, #3)

From the book jacket:

While the local police succumb to a flu epidemic and the unsolved crimes pile up, a tired and demoralized Jack Frost tries to cope with inadequate backup as he tackles a spate of vicious killings. Contending with a suspicious suicide, burglaries, pornographic videos, poison pen letters and his comander looking over his shoulder, Frost has to cut corners and take risks.

I'm a huge fan of Inspector Frost's mysteries. Loved the TV series and love his name Jack Frost!!
As always Jack is skivving to get out of doing paperwork. Most of the station's cops are down with the flu and to make it worse there is a new uppity detective that Jack has to partner with.
In spite of not following police protocol Jack manages to come through as you keep cheering for him.
Great easy read perfect for a vacation!!

  1. We loved the Jack Frost TV series as well! Never knew there were books about him. Now I'll have to search these out. Can't get enough of the British crime stories. We are hooked on them.
