We stayed at the Hotel Trocadero last August for a night before we boarded the MS Avalon Creativity to cruise from Paris to Normandy and back.
This hotel is within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower which was our first stop after checking in.
The hotel lobby is delightfully decorated.

Crepes in Paris August 2012 - this is how my mother always made crepes when we were growing up. I didn't realize for the longest time that this wasn't how Americans and Canadians had pancakes!! My favourite with lemon and sugar!!

So here goes my contribution. We were in France in August 2012 on a week-long river cruise with good friends. The Eiffel Tower at night was an amazing sight!
