ELEPHANT EAR fish - Vietnam
Is a large, Mekong River-dwelling Elephant Ear Gourami (Osphronemus exodon), often served deep-fried in Vietnam.

I had mango sticky rice on my bucket list since I had seen it advertised in Bangkok in 2015. Ten years later and I had it in Phuket!!
It is delicious!

ReplyDeleteNot too sure about the elephant ear, I know we eat pigs ears so why not. I had forgotten "Emeralds", my mother's birthstone. Great picks this week.
