The Wolf Full Moon is today/tonight, January 3, 2026. The Wolf Moon is a supermoon appearing near its closest point to Earth. It will shine about 30% brighter and look 14% larger than the smallest full moon of the year. January's full Moon is referred to as the Wolf moon because it marks the time of year when it was believed wolves howled more as there was less food around.
