ITALICS TOUR DESCRIPTION

All breakfasts at the hotel. Enjoy three incredible days in Phuket, where you will certainly be mesmerized by its crystal-clear water, white sand beaches, mountain views, delicious cuisine, and the warm, friendly smiles of the Thai people. (Breakfasts) 

Following our buffet breakfast, we decided to spend a couple hours by the pool.It was a  humid and hot day with temperatures in the low 30s. 

Around 11am, we showered and headed out to explore Patong beach. We decied to try the Indigo hotel restaurant.

We settled in at the bar and ordered two large sapporo draft beers. Checking the menu we orderd the calamari and french fries.

Then we decide to head down toward the Indian ocean. It was very busy along this street consisting of hotels, restaurants, altars and people coming from the beach area.

We arrived at the beach and could not believe the maze of people and umbrellas basically glued together. It was like being at the mall.We proceeded to remove our sandals and dip our feet in the warm Indian Ocean.

We then headed along Patong Beach to the Loma Park market. Loma Park (which means Dolphin Park) stretches from the middle to the northern end of Patong Beach in Phuket. It is a medium-sized space parallel to the most beautiful part of the beach and offers some shade from the busy beach area. The park benefits from the shade of palm trees and other plants, offering a space for locals to sit and eat together or even take a nap at any time of the day. Loma Park is a tranquil environment for relaxation or recreation and is often the scene of special events, food fairs and official ceremonies.

When entering the restaurant area, Jackie noticed a fresh fruit stand who had mango sticky rice ✅ which she had added to her bucket list of food to try. So we sat down and ordered the mango sticky rice and a couple beers.

She definitely enjoyed this dessert. The mango sticky rice is served warm and dipped into warm coconut milk. I must admit, it was delicious and I was a bit of a skeptic.✅
After finding the restroom and having to pay 10 baht to enter, I wandered around to take in the vastness of this market.

After dessert, we decided to head back to out hotel for some relaxation time. When I think about it, packing once again is not relaxing time. Tomorrow we travel back to Bangkok for our return flights home on the 22nd. We decided around 8pm to head over to the pizza restaurant for dinner. We ordered a glass or two of wine and glanced at the menu. Jackie ordered the pork schnitzel with rice and I had the yellow curry with basmati rice. Once again, the food was delicious. We noticed that the rice came in the shape of a heart. How cool.

We went back to our hotel around 10 pm and thought to take a picture of the Christmas theme showing 2026. Then off to bed.
