FRANK PANABAKER, RCA 1904-1992
Frank Panabaker was born in Hespeler, Ontario. At the age of sixteen he studied art at a summer school taught by McGillvray Knowles and then completed his education at the Ontario College of Art. Today his artwork hangs in many public art galleries and private collection throughout Canada and around the world.
That's an interesting image. It makes me wonder how someone would see an ocean liner from down in the water. I find the perspective confusing when I try to imagine the observer's line-of-sight.

A simple image with a colorful adaptation...the artist doesn't make the looming ship all black, as reality would have done.

I cant begin to believe how far behind I have fallen. This is a really different and unique painting. I tend to agree with Mae on the perspective.
