There is plenty to see in Birmingham, although most people tend to go for simply shopping needs, the cadbury factory and the botanical gardens are both incredibly amazing to see. Also it's probably important to note that Birmingham was the birthplace of the industrial revolution and despite the metamorphosis it has gone through recently, it still bears the hallmarks of a once great city.
I don't want to drive there. I'd have to stop at every interesection to read the signs, everyone would be furious with me and it would take forever :-)
