May 2010 - Stonehenge England
On the drive out of London traffic, Steve passed around a lunch menu for people to select their lunches in advance. H would then phone it in while we were at the Castle and it would be ready for us when we reached the pub. Not everyone elected to have lunch, not sure why??? As you arrived at the pub your drinks were handed to you (pre-selected) and then you were given a table for your party.
Food was fair to middling, the English cannot cook a hamburger! Karen had lasagne as she is on a kick to find a decent one, not this one. I had the roast pork - I truly dislike reheated pork. We didn't have very many bad meals and this couldn't really count as one of them. They were serving a large group in a very short amount of time.
First view of Stonehenge from the bus
Some prehistoric sights and technology
A rare sighting - a decent photo of me.
A very common sighting among my photos wherever I go
