More than 250 brightly painted baby elephant statues made their debut on the streets of London, England in May 2010.
In a bid to raise awareness about the plight of the Asian elephant, UK-based charity Elephant Family asked big-name designers and artists to paint the baby elephant statues in the country’s largest public art campaign. Participating artists include Lulu Guinness, Diane von Furstenberg, HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Tommy Hilfiger and Isaac Mizrahi.

When we were riving through New Mexico we stopped at a Russell's, one of three gas stations in this chain. This one has a very special museum showcasing the owner's vast collection of cars and other memorabilia. There is so much to see and I took so many photos.

Taken in Palm Springs at The Living Desert whose mission is Colorado desert conservation through preservation, education and appreciation. It contains animals and gardens and is a wonderful place to visit. It is best to go early in the day as it gets very hot and harder to see the animals as they rest during the warmest parts of the day.
