ReplyDeleteThat first vehicle is called a Bombardier because it has an enclosed cab. A snowmobile, by contrast, is open to the elements. Bombadier (at least on the prairies) is pronounced in the "English way" as "bom-ba-DEER." I think they're still used in the High Arctic.
