I'm linking up at Monday Mural
November 2024 - Toronto ON
On November 3, 2024 an emotional Vince Carter acknowledged his contentious exit from Toronto as his No. 15 jersey became the first number retired by the Raptors in a halftime ceremony during Saturday’s game against Sacramento. "It’s not just Carter 15 going up, it’s all of us going up," Carter told fans before a banner with his name and number was lifted to the rafters.
Artist Paul Glyn-Williams was commissioned by MLSE to immortalize Vince Carter dunking at Queen and Duncan Streets.

The artist is certainly very talented.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mural, a nice tribute by a very good artist. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Jackie.
ReplyDeleteI like the new banner (is it new or did I not pay attention?).
ReplyDeleteWow, a beautiful mural, so well done.
But sad the Ukrainian had to make room for it...
