May 2010 - Liverpool England
20 Forthlin Road is a National Trust property in south Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It is the house in which Paul McCartney lived for several years before he rose to fame with The Beatles. It was also the home of his brother Mike.
The Trust markets the house as "the birthplace of the Beatles", since this is the place where The Beatles composed and rehearsed their earliest songs.
Lovely! It's very reassuring to me to know that even the most brilliant minds grew up behind very simple, sturdy windows :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this with us!
It does look very ordinary, doesn't it?!
ReplyDeleteI still have my National Trust books from our vacation over 7 years ago and love looking through them. I will check out that house in the book when I get home tonight. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteThnx for the peek at Paul’s house. I gotta admit, he has always been my fave.
ReplyDeleteCool to know that this is a destination!
ReplyDeleteI have just enjoyed a catch up here, never seem to get much time for blogging these days. I must look out for the British Isles Friday Meme.
