We were in Jerome AZ last Saturday and visited the ghost town. We had been here before and it hasn't changed much. It is probably not worth the $5 admission but we enjoyed it anyway. I took a lot of photos of the old car grilles.
We drove to Jerome last January when we were in Sedona. Just as we got to the top of the steep, steep hill it started snowing. We decided to forego our tourist plans and get back down the hill. Short visit!
Cool photos! Those old cars with different grilles have their own personality. Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI love the old cars and trucks! I loeve the southwest anyway. My husband and I are moving to New Mexico. Can't wait to be out there!
ReplyDeleteI went to Jerome, AZ in 2007...what a great experience. Thanks for sharing the photos; much better than the ones we took.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for visiting my blog.

ReplyDeleteLooking at your pics gave me a John Steinbeck moment - Grapes of Wrath country.
ReplyDeleteNot very literary, but these photos reminded me of Mater from Disney's Cars.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh, I thought of Mater too. Great photos of the old cars!
ReplyDeleteI thought of Mater for that first one particularly.
