Day 2 - Drive to North Carolina

We woke to a dry but cloudy sky and after a quick complimentary breakfast at the hotel we were in the car by 9:30 A.M. on a Sunday morning. I couldn't believe the traffic  at this time on a weekend outside Washington D.C. plus the amount of construction for the first couple of hours of our drive.

 The sun comes out!

It's time for lunch and I had spotted a billboard for Five Guys in Euphoria Virginia so that's where we headed. This was the best burger and fries ever!! BUT I should have taken the cashier's advise and gone for the "little" burger as it was too big for me to finish.

Our location for the week

 Condo needs a little updating but it is spotless and has everything we need. It also has its own golf course and a marina.
