T for Tuesday

T Stands For is hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard

Toronto ON

I have featured Jimmy's Coffee shops on several locations for various memes but thought it would be a good addition to T for Tuesday.

I just checked and there are now eight locations in the city so I am lagging behind in my explorations.

 From Jimmy's website:

Jimmy's Coffee first opened its doors on December 10th, 2009. The idea came to life thanks to serial entrepreneur, Phil Morrison. Phil? You mean his name isn't Jimmy? Then who is Jimmy? The elusive Jimmy doesn’t exist as a singular person—we love all Jimmies! James Dean, Jimmy Hoffa, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Carter, Jim Morrison, Jimmy Durante, your friend Jimmy, my friend Jimmy, or maybe even your dad Jimmy.

Jimmy’s Coffee on Gerrard St. West has plenty of studying space, spread over three floors. Tip! The third floor doubles as a boardroom rental space). For all you dog owners, don’t forget about the shop’s walk-up window in the back, so you don’t have to leave your pup outside alone!

This is the Gerrard St. location.

Jimmy Mount Rushmore

Hendrix, Page, Buffett and Morrison.

Another Jimmy on the back wall done by the same artist.

  1. What a wonderful mural with all those Jimmies. And it sounds like a great place for a coffee too. Have you been inside?
    Happy T-Day,

  2. Oh Jackie, I absolutely LOVE "Jimmy's" interpretation of Mt. Rushmore. Much better than the one we have. I also think someone did a great job with Jimmy Carter, too. Thanks for this really unique take on sharing T with us this Tuesday, dear.

  3. Haha, I love that last photo.
Some great art on the side of Jimmy's. Sounds like an interesting place to visit. I love that it is dedicated to more than one Jimmy.
    Happy Tea Day,

  4. Wonderful murals, and an amusing name. I'm aware of one similar place called "Oh! George." It has a list of Georges, beginning with George Washington. Also many others, including George Mason, because it's across the street from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
