It occurred to me that I had not shown our shots of Notre Dame after that devastating fire just before our arrival.
The fire was April 15 and on our first day, April 28, we walked down to see it for ourselves.
It was a rainy day and the streets were still closed off with security vehicles on site.
Investigation tents still up. There was no chance to get close as police still guarded the area.

On May 2 we took a river cruise.
...what a loss, but it still looks beautiful.
