La Villita Church was founded in 1956 and leases the church and pantry space from the city. Twice a week it holds nondenominational services, and frequently is the site of weddings. The pantry space is used to store and distribute food five days a week.
When we entered there were two women sitting in the last pew videoing this man singing. He smiled at us and used hand gestures to ask me to take a photo. Later I heard him walking down the street singing.
