Wondrous Words Wednesday is a weekly meme where we share new (to us) words that we’ve encountered in our reading and is hosted by Bermuda Onion.
- tocsin - "The tocsin rang out, warning us of the approaching tornado." Noun - an alarm bell.
- eidetic - "He searched his eidetic brain for what they needed." Adjective - commonly referred to as photographic memory.
Darn, I should have know eidetic, but I'd forgotten it. I obviously don't have an eidetic brain. Tocsin is totally new to me.
