We skip breakfast in the hotel and head to the Plaka for coffee and baklava.
After breakfast we decided we would head back to Piraeus and have lunch by the water. We headed to the bus stop only to be confronted with dozens of other tourists with the same idea, totally unlike yesterday when we were practically the only people on the bus.
Each restaurant along the bay is decorated in a unique fashion. Most restaurants do not have a kitchen or washroom on the water. These are located across the street.
We had lunch at the Fish Tavern, where there was a film crew doing a coumentary on the restaurant and its owner.
Considering we are on the water the fish is extremely expensive. My grilled octopus was 38 euros! Tonight we have the orientation with our fellow travellers. It was hosted by Panos and there are only 5 of us at our hotel, R and J from Philadelphia and J from Doha, Qatar formerly from Houston.
