Niagara Falls with friends - we live a couple of hours away and yet this was the first time we went to the Falls and stayed over.

November 2012 - April 2, 2013 saw us enjoying our first winter away from the cold and snow of Toronto. We decided to make it a road trip which I documented as we went. Here is a recap of our southbound trip.

We were in Sedona for a week in December and then moved to Las Vegas until February 18. We then drove to LA and flew to the sunshine in Mazatlan Mexico for two weeks.

We flew  back to LA for one night, picked up our car and then drove through a snowstorm in our shorts and sandals to Sedona AZ.






We spent a week in Cornville near Cottonwood and then in Sedona for a week. 

We spent the next weekend in another resort in Sedona and then get back on the road for the northbound ramble home to Toronto with lots of stops on the way.


Once home we didn't stay house bound for long.

June saw us spend a few days in Niagara Falls with friends.
July we flew to Calgary to visit friends and go to the Stampede (frequent flyer points).
Also in July we drove to Grand Rapids Michigan for a few days.
Then in August we flew to Halifax Nova Scotia and a tour of Cape Breton for a week (frequent flyer points).
We spent the weekend at home and then flew to New York City with friends for a few days in September.
Another driving trip at the end September to Columbus Ohio for the Blake Shelton concert (a birthday gift from my husband).
