Easternmost POINT of North America Newfoundland
The easternmost point of Canada is Cape Spear, located on the Avalon Peninsula near St. John's, Newfoundland. It is also the easternmost point of mainland North America and the first place on the continent to see the sunrise each day.  

Coast Guard

The lighthouse is the second-oldest in the province and dates back to 1834. It has since been named a Canadian Historic Site and is open to the public at certain times of the year.
