Recipes - Oven Pork Chops
As I look at the photo I took last night while preparing to put the pork chops into the oven, I notice that I topped it in the opposite way than stated below, either works!! Also my onions were very large, so I cut the slices into pieces.
I don't have a copy of the actual recipe that I made last night. But I do know it by heart so here goes:
Pork chops - whatever cut you like
Per pork chop:
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 slice onion
1 slice lemon
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In an oven proof dish place each pork chop and top each pork chop with the above starting with the ketchup, then brown sugar, onion slice and finish with the lemon.
Place in the heated oven for about 50 minutes or until done. The toppings create a nice sauce.
Lat night I placed my cut up potatoes in with the chops and then added vegetables about 15 minutes before removing the chops. It will depend on the vegetables you use.
